Dag lui,

Weer even een heerlijk vakantietje gehad op de zuidoostkust van Kreta onder Lasithi, westelijk van Ierapetra. Van 1 t/m 10 mei 2015.

Geen locaties van anderen bezocht, hoewel met name Jan Essink redelijk dicht in de buurt was, drie kwartier rijden, kwam er niet van. Leek ook weinig zinvol gelet op de gevorderde situatie op die hoogte.

Hier wat uitgebloeide exemplaren waar ik niet zo goed uitkom. Op die ene na die me vrij duidelijk lijkt? Hoewel, italica of lactea, geen idee hoe dat nog te zien is. Er stonden er ook met kortere aar.

Van foto 1 (de bovenste) denk ik aan Anacamptis collina maken. Foto 2 misschien Neotinea maculata?

Foto 2 en 4 lijkt me Neotinea maculata, foto 3 vrijwel zeker Italica. Foto 2 lijkt me van vorig jaar.

1 colina is eigenlijk logischer dan de ophrys die ik dacht te zien (komt er voor op die hoogte, en was zo uitgebloeid dat er met veel zoeken niets meer van te vinden was op een mij bekende site).
Limodorum is voor mijn gevoel veel groter (en later?), dit klopt qua grote meer met colina.
(niet heel lang gekeken, tijdens een wandeling en ik liep al achteraan met m'n manke poot).

2 Neotinea maculata of coriophora. Het rozet lijkt bij de een anders dan bij de ander. Komt meer overeen met bebladering omringende coriophora... maar daar stonden dus heel frisse knopjes bij. Wel sterk afhankelijk van de plek op de helling. Al mijn foto's van verse exemplaren zijn van hellingen met een noordelijke component. Een van vorig jaar is nogal onverwacht. Je vind heel snel niks meer terug (maar ja, dan vindt je ze ook veel moeilijker).

Hierbij nog een Anacamptis coriophora ssp fragrans
(surely not a x colina, Kalithea Thermen is a great, quiet in october, place on the beach southeast of Rhodes) 3 italica.

4 Neotinea maculata. Had ik gevoelsmatig verwacht. ik zette het er niet bij omdat ik het niet kom motiveren.

didn t get much from the translation but I said Limodorum abortivum for the 1st because of the bracts... the 2nd, a good picture of the dried leafs would help.

1 Colina is actually more logical than the ophrys I thought I saw. (I did not look very long at this plant, it was during a walk and I was allready behind with my bad foot).
Colina is present on that altitude. And it was so far advanced that with a lot of searching I didn't find any on a familiar site where I found them in other years in bloom.
Limodorum is normally much bigger (reference in France). This is more in line of the size of the colina. Well... that is rather subjective?
(new line:) The place where I found them was however with some human influence, which is more like an indication for limodorum.

2 neotinea maculata or coriophora. It seems the rosette is more like the coriophora, looking at the surrounding coriophora ... but these were mostly very early in flowering. However, this was strongly dependent on the location on the slope. All my photos of fresh copies of slopes with a northerly component.
I did not find any other remaining rests of plants from last year.
